I am on the Shally chat and nothing is happening. I am assuming that is because nobody is specifically asking any questions??

Maureen,
I have just heard from so many recruiters that once they have tapped out all the job boards and linkedin and every other board that they can not find contacts. Most people don't realize that only 10 to 15% of employees are on these boards. An engineer for example, there are many scattered among these boards but most don't think about adding there name to linkedin. They go to work and put there head down and and start there day. So being good at research is a must. Anyway as I ramble on....

Hi Maureen,
Thankyou for the note, well about 12 yrs ago a friend of mine was doing pretty well at research and started to train me and after about a month he had to move so I was on my own. No computer, only a pen, phone and notebook. So I became very good at sneaking into company's and not using technology to find people who have not been found by anyone else.

Thank you Maureen for the welcome. It is 70 degrees today, sunny with a little breeze. It is definitely beautiful! I am native to Charlotte and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. I'm so glad you started this page. I'm new to the Accounting/Finance industry but have 10 years of Administrative, Industrial and Technical recruiting experience. I look forward to being active with other members here.
